Amelia supports Energetics’ clients in assessing climate risk, mitigation opportunities and adaptation strategies. She has led several comprehensive climate scenario assessments which included identifying key risks and climate drivers, leveraging sophisticated climate change data sets and examining latest scientific research to quantify impact. Her climate work also includes the modelling of adaptation pathways. Recently, she has worked to develop evidence-based emissions reduction targets for clients across the infrastructure, buildings and banking sectors.
Amelia regularly undertakes energy audits and feasibility studies, which include assessing the viability of solar PV, batteries, HVAC upgrades and other energy efficiency measures. Prior to joining Energetics, she worked for several years as a building services engineer. This technical design and construction experience grounds her advice to her clients, ensuring that adaptation and mitigation opportunities are realistic and achievable. Amelia is an Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia Accredited Professional as well as a NABERS Assessor.
