Having worked at Energetics previously as a senior consultant, Jacqui returned to Energetics as a Principal Consultant. In the March 2023 NSW state election, Jacqui stood as an independent teal candidate for Pittwater, achieving a 22% swing in a safe Liberal seat. Her candidacy drove significant policy developments including a bill to end exploration of oil and gas off the NSW coastline. She has also run the campaign and held the position of Principal Advisor for federal MP Dr Sophie Scamps, including improving the Climate Change Act 2023 (Cth). Jacqui brings her political insights, subject matter expertise and corporate experience to support clients as they manage their climate risks and prepare for the greater scrutiny of the Australian implementation of the International Sustainability Standards Board reporting standards. Jacqui knows Energetics’ clients, their industries and her long history with Energetics will enable her to help clients build value in their businesses through managing their climate risk and seizing opportunities.
