Tony Cooper
Chief Executive Officer
Tony has over fifteen years experience consulting to business on energy and climate change matters. As Chief Executive Officer since 2006, Tony has been a key driver behind Energetics’ strategic positioning which saw the organisation shift from an engineering firm to a management consultancy specialising in climate change. He has successfully led Energetics through the sale of its technology arm, a management buy out, and the global financial crisis - where the company was able to meet its financial targets and compete with major industry players. With a proven track record in strategic planning, managing specialist professional teams and change management, Tony is committed to working with clients as partners, enhancing financial and team performance and effectively implementing strategic change. Tony joined Energetics in 1998 and briefly worked as a Senior Consultant before taking on the role of NSW Regional Manager. In 2001, he joined Energetics’ Executive Team and was responsible for driving the company’s business development and securing some of Energetics’ major client accounts which we continue to work with today. Prior to joining Energetics, Tony managed a national portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties for organisations like Westpac Banking Corporation, Knight Frank and the Department of Aviation.

Jonathan Jutsen
Executive Director, Business Development
Jon founded Energetics in 1984, and is currently Executive Director, responsible for business development. Jon is a leading international expert on energy and carbon management with 30 years’ experience in the field, and has been recognised widely for his contributions. He is known for his innovation, and his public advocacy of effective action on climate change. Jon works with executive teams and Boards to assist them to understand the business opportunities from pro-active actions to mitigate carbon emissions and manage climate change impacts.

Flora Lee Wilson
Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
Flora is the executive assistant to the CEO and works closely with the executive team. Flora joined Energetics in 2007 after spending a number of years working with senior executives in the public sector and tertiary institution. Her early professional life was spent in Asia and the US in a number of diverse capacities, working with international artists, IT specialists, entrepreneurs and Government officials. Flora's unique background provides the perfect balance in the rapidly changing climate change business

Anne Pellegrino
Group General Manager - Government and Utilities
Anne brings to Energetics over 14 years of experience working at the centre of government on energy efficiency, climate change and broader policy and program delivery in Australia and internationally. As Group General Manager Government and Utilities, Anne assists government and business to develop and implement innovative carbon management, sustainability and public policy solutions. Anne joined Energetics in 2009 and has provided advice and support to Energetics’ clients to assist them to access government funding and assistance to develop their sustainability climate change programs. Prior to joining Energetics, Anne held senior positions with the Australian government. During 2007-09 she was Australia’s lead representative on the Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate Buildings and Appliances Taskforce. She also worked within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet to develop and launch Australia’s first comprehensive 10-year National Strategy on Energy Efficiency.

Mary Stewart
Group General Manager - Resources and Industrial
Mary has over fifteen years experience in decision making for sustainable development. As Group General Manager Resources and Heavy Industry, Mary assists some of the largest energy users in Australia to make improvements on significant footprints. Since joining Energetics in 2005, Mary has worked as Principal Consultant to the mining industry, and Principal Consultant Sustainability. Her experience on site and at corporate level has been invaluable to Energetics' mining and heavy industry clients who routinely seek her opinion on developing and implementing large scale programs ranging from energy efficiency and carbon mitigation to reporting. Mary is a recognised international expert on Life Cycle Assessment as it applies to resources and is an expert in developing carbon footprints and carbon neutral positions. Mary is on the editorial board of the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, is a member of the AusIMM's Sustainability Committee as well as its Energy and Climate Change sub-committee; she is on the peer review panel for The Journal of Industrial Ecology and has completed peer reviews of large, international LCIs. She co-chaired the Scenarios session at the 2011 International Society of Industrial Ecology conference held in Berkeley and lectured on LCA and resource in France in June 2011.

Rob Thomson
Group General Manager - Commercial and Infrastructure
With over 25 years experience in the commercial and manufacturing sector, Rob has worked in strategic, leadership and operational management roles. As Group General Manager Commercial and Light Industrial, Rob and his team assist clients who operate at multiple sites across Australia in reducing their impact on climate change as well as reducing their energy spend in an ever increasingly complex regulatory and commercial environment. Since joining Energetics in 2007, Rob briefly worked as a Senior Consultant before taking on the role of NSW Regional Manager. Rob provides advice and support to Energetics’ clients using his broad set of skills encompassing operational, project and business management as well as change-management

Paul Thomas
General Manager - Finance, Planning & Analysis
With over 10 years experience in financial management, Paul has worked in professional service firms and global corporations in oil, resources and property. He joined Energetics in March 2011 as the General Manager of Finance, Planning and Analysis to support the business in meeting its revenue and growth objectives as well as its long term strategic vision. Paul has extensive experience in strategic planning, internal and external stakeholder engagement on complex projects and developing reporting systems that encapsulate both financial and non-financial metrics.

Julia Davenport
General Manager - Clients and Strategy
Julia is the General Manager, Clients & Strategy. Julia focuses on three core areas of responsibility: managing and optimising strategy development and execution to enable Energetics to deliver tangible outcomes of practical value, sustainably improve business performance and achieve Energetics vision; overseeing Energetics client engagement and insight programs by working with account managers and the leadership team with the aim of delivering excellence in client service and value; and, as General Manager of the Business Development, Marketing and Communications team, setting and monitoring strategic direction to enhance Energetics brand and reputation in the marketplace, ensuring that the brand benefits to Energetics are fully realised and assist Energetics achieve business and client KPIs.

Chris McLean
General Manager - Technology, Knowledge and Legal
Chris has extensive experience in assisting organisations to manage their information and knowledge, develop and manage technologies and protect and commercialise their intellectual property. Chris's previous experience as a lawyer and technologist have given him a deep understanding of the needs of business. Chris also has considerable experience in developing and implementing technology systems and platforms, advising on the most effective use of technology and using technology to enable more effective and efficient business processes.
