Based in Brisbane, Lucas is a senior consultant experienced in developing decarbonisation and climate risk strategies in a range of industries. With a background in ecology and sustainable policy, he brings strong research insights and analytical tools to all projects with particular interest in transition risk, voluntary initiatives such as Climate Active and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and agricultural decarbonisation. He also brings expertise in emissions quantification and reporting, extending to supply chain emissions and life cycle assessments.
Prior to joining Energetics, Lucas worked with the University of Queensland, developing improved data capture and visualisation systems. He also assisted the university in generating large-generation certificates (LGCs) from PV assets and was responsible for National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) data collection and submission.
