David is the leader of Emissions Quant within the Data Insights and Analytics solution. Since joining Energetics, he has assisted facilities and organisations across Australian industry to comply with carbon legislation, understand climate policy impacts and transition to a low carbon economy. He supports clients in developing accurate and detailed emissions inventories and identifying the implications of organisational emissions footprints for various internal and external purposes. David’s expertise includes NPI, NGER and Safeguard Mechanism frameworks, carbon neutral and net zero strategy, lifecycle assessment, management of climate risk in alignment with the requirements of the TCFD and emissions management strategy.

With a background in mechanical engineering in the global energy and resources industries, over the course of more than ten years David was involved in EPCM project management, manufacturing management, coordination of remote project teams and project engineering. David is a Certified Energy Manager and has postgraduate qualifications in renewable energy and environmental studies.
