Curtis specialises in energy markets’ analysis, electricity, and gas procurement for some of Australia’s largest energy users from across all sectors of the economy. His work also includes modelling and analysis of trends in the National Electricity Market (NEM) to assist large energy users in securing fixed and progressive electricity contracts as well as risk managed, long term corporate renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs). Curtis has capabilities throughout the procurement process, spanning the financial analysis of options, developing tender specifications, completing technical and commercial due diligence and contract negotiation.
Curtis is experienced both as an analyst and as a project manager. Recent project work includes leading a team to deliver an innovative contracting solution to a large data centre client and implementing a progressive purchasing framework for a University located in Sydney.
