As Analytics Lead, Megan works across Energetics’ services to manage and support numerical modelling activities, using her expertise in translating complex datasets into meaningful insights to assist clients with making data-driven decisions in situations ranging from grid decarbonisation and net zero pathways to inventory development and life cycle assessment, to scenario analysis under the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) and geospatial models for physical risk assessment.
Megan has worked across a broad range of services, managing complex projects and large project teams to assist clients with integration of energy and emissions considerations into existing business practices, improving data handling practices and the submission of regulatory reports.
Megan has a background in data science, chemical engineering and mathematics, with ten years of experience across carbon pricing, modelling, scenario analysis, forecasting, inventory preparation and energy efficiency, and is currently working towards her PhD in machine learning with a geospatial application.
