John provides strategic insights for Energetics’ climate risk services. As a skilled senior risk professional and trusted executive advisor, he develops and embeds transformational and practical risk management solutions that support clients in their strategic and tactical business decisions. He brings over 25 years’ experience working directly with group chief risk officers, senior executives and board directors of market leading financial institutions.

John is the director of his own independent risk consultancy business, JE Advisory, providing climate risk and broader enterprise risk management expert advice to the financial and wider corporate sectors. He is a regular partner with Energetics on client engagements and is the former Head of Enterprise Risk Advisory at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
