Energetics' team has supported many clients to understand and minimise energy consumption costs and establish systems and programs that deliver continuous improvement in energy management. Through the use of our process efficiency services, many clients have experienced cost effective, quality outcomes that have helped to improve the efficiency of their business.

Efficiency starts with strategy

Energetics has provided strategic advice to many clients to help them manage their energy more efficiently to reduce costs and effectively manage associated risks. We have assisted these clients with policy, strategy, development of robust management systems and the implementation of continuous improvement programs.

Management systems and capacity building

The diagnostic tools developed by Energetics have helped many clients to gain significant savings, secure top management buy-in and build competencies to continuously improve the way in which they manage energy. Energetics' unique approach the energy management integrates with the methodology of processes already widely used by businesses to manage quality, safety, environment and reliability. Using Energetics' range of diagnostic tools for energy, water and waste, including One-2-Five®, Achiever® and Challenger®; organisations are able to quickly identify opportunities for savings and improvement within their management processes.

Best of breed benchmarking and tools drives continuous improvement

Our suite of diagnostic tools provides clients with best practice industry standard tools for assessing energy performance. A key feature of Energetics' One-2-Five® products is the web-based benchmarking capability. This allows benchmarking of management performance internally between different sites or against more than 1,700 users of the One 2-Five® diagnostic internationally. When combined with efficiency benchmarking (using Key Performance Indicators), management benchmarking is a powerful mechanism for driving continuous improvement at all levels within an organisation.

Energy management: assessments, incentives and funding

Energetics helps clients systematically assess opportunities for reducing energy consumption and costs. We help many of Australia’s largest organisations to meet the requirements of mandatory and voluntary Government energy programs, including:
• Commonwealth's Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessments (EEO);
• NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change Energy (ESAP);
• Victorian EPA's State Environment Protection Policy (SEPP (AQM);
• Victorian Environment and Resource Efficiency Plans (EREP);
• Various Government Energy Management Programs; and
• Voluntary energy management initiatives sponsored by government, industry associations and businesses, including best practice programs.

Energetics also has a vast amount of experience in helping businesses to access incentives and funding programs, such as the NSW Energy Savings Fund .

Energy performance contracts generates impressive returns

Energetics has worked with clients to procure and negotiate over $50 million in projects by facilitating Energy Performance Contracts. Our proven track record has delivered returns in excess of 15% internal rate of return. Our independent service includes the selection of an Energy Services Company through to the signing of a contract.

Baseline reporting helps clients meet Government energy reduction targets

Energetics has assisted many clients to implement robust reporting systems and processes. Our approach to reporting ensures that clients are able to obtain and publicly release comprehensive, accurate, transparent and auditable information. Our team acquires information from a large number of sources to prepare comprehensive baseline reports for clients. These reports help clients to monitor and report on consumption and usage annually to ensure they are on track to meet Government energy reduction targets.
