Green Star Environment System
Energetics has invested in training a number of its staff to become Green Star Accredited Professionals. Green Star, developed by the Green Building Council Australia, is a national voluntary rating system which evaluates the environmental performance of buildings.
Accredited Professionals
To become an Accredited Professional it is neccessary to attend the Green Star Accredited Professional course and pass the competency exam. Energetics' Accredited Green Star Professionals have a detailed understanding of the Green Star environmental rating system and the Green Star-Office Design rating tool.
Achieving Green Star Certification
Company's wishing to achieve Green Star certification need to be assessed through the Green Star rating process and tools. If they demonstrate that specified projects meet all requirements detailed in the relevant Green Star Technical Manuals for each of the rating tools, certification will be awarded to the project team by issue of an award certificate and appropriate Green Star logos. This signals approval for public promotion of the Green Star rating.
