Read this article, if you don't want to miss out on the chance to lower your energy prices!!

Does your electricity contract for Victoria or South Australia expire late this year or early next year?

Now may be the time to start re-negotiating your contract and getting better rates. Prices in both states are currently at low levels, and a number of retailers are providing competitive offers. This is a huge turnaround from the extraordinary high prices in mid-2001.

Prices in South Australia have been flat for most of the year. This has been reinforced by the fact that the state has been less susceptible to manipulation of the market by generators than other National Electricity Market states.

Even if your contract still has a while to run, you can already take advantage of these lower rates prior to expiry. If you move quickly, it maybe possible to secure competitive prices for the longer term.
