Greenhouse Challenge Plus
Energetics has been a committed member of the Greenhouse Challenge programme (run by the Australian Government) since 2001 and was recently a finalist in the 2007 Greenhouse Challenge Plus awards for our achievements in reducing our operational greenhouse gas emissions.

Greenhouse Challenge Plus builds on the success of the Greenhouse Challenge programme (established in 1995), integrates two other industry focused measures (the Generator Efficiency Standards and Greenhouse Friendly initiative), and incorporates changes announced in the 2004 Energy White Paper 'Securing Australia's Energy Future'. All members of Greenhouse Challenge, Greenhouse Friendly and the Generator Efficiency Standards will become members of Greenhouse Challenge Plus on 1 July 2005.
As Australia's largest specialised Energy and Greenhouse consultancy, Energetics first joined the Greenhouse Challenge programme in 2001 and is strongly committed to making a major impact on the management of energy and greenhouse through working with our clients.
Our own emissions are relatively small in comparison to our clients, yet Energetics continues to 'lead by example'. In our previous premises, we installed a state of the art lighting system in the Sydney head office and maintained a 5 Star Tenancy standing under the 'Australian Building Greenhouse Rating' (ABGR) scheme. Energetics has investigated many opportunities to obtain the same rating in the new North Sydney and Melbourne premises and is proud to announce that in 2007, both premises achieved a 5 Star Tenancy rating under the ABGR scheme.
Energetics continues to have its greatest influence on Australia's greenhouse gas emissions through providing energy and greenhouse gas management services to some of Australia's largest energy users.
