Patrick Denvir
General Manager - Consulting
Patrick has worked with Energetics since 1995, and has extensive experience across the full spectrum of energy and carbon services, to governments, commercial and industrial sector organisations. Patrick is the General Manager for Energetics’ consulting business, and is also responsible for developing and working with our customers and government in relation to the Energy Efficiency Opportunities Program.

Dr. Peter Holt
Principal Consultant - Sustainable Water Management
Peter is a chemical engineer with experience in innovative treatment technologies, capacity development, risk assessment and a systems approach to water management. Peter has worked on strategic projects with private and government organisations. The relationship between climate change, energy and water resources is integrated, and so are the solutions. Working to ensure sustainable outcomes, Peter provides water management expertise to Energetics’ clients.

Nick Jones
Principal Consultant - Buildings and Infrastructure
Nick has a long history of providing successful energy and environmental consultancy services to some of the world’s leading companies. His primary experience lies within the commercial buildings area for clients with extensive portfolios, but he has also operated within the manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors adding depth and breadth to his skillset.

Jonathan Jutsen
Executive Director - Strategy
Jon founded Energetics in 1984, and is currently Executive Director, responsible for business development. Jon is a leading international expert on energy and carbon management with 30 years’ experience in the field, and has been recognised widely for his contributions. He is known for his innovation, and his public advocacy of effective action on climate change. Jon works with executive teams and Boards to assist them to understand the business opportunities from pro-active actions to mitigate carbon emissions and manage climate change impacts.

Dr. David Mitchell
Principal Consultant - Carbon Solutions
David has an extensive background in strategy, entrepreneurship, early stage commercialisation and innovation. Prior to joining Energetics, David has developed strategic technology plans in CSIRO, worked to identify spin-out opportunities and managed a substantial research program in bioinformatics. David is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Phil Shorten
Principal Consultant - Capacity Building
Phil brings his Human Resource Development experience with the National Trainer Training Service to Energetics' clients. He founded and managed a Registered Training Organisation for 17 years. He has worked in various parts of Asia and Australia managing projects in complex environments to bring about systemic change within organisations. As a trained and highly experienced facilitator and moderator, Phil works to enhance the business strategies & resource work focusing on engagement processes.

Gilles Walgenwitz
Principal Consultant - Implementation
Gilles has developed a strong expertise in providing engineering and economic analysis to support project feasibility studies and asset management solutions in the energy sector. Gilles has been with Energetics for over 5 years. He has experience in evaluating investments, optimizing operation and maintenance activities and assessing environmental impacts.

Dr. Gordon Weiss
Principal Consultant - Process Efficiency
Gordon joined Energetics in March 1999 having spent almost 20 years working in a variety of operations and technical roles in the process industries. In the 10 years he has worked in all areas of energy management, process improvement and greenhouse management, with a prime focus on delivering savings to clients by aligning operating systems with manufacturing strategies.
