Jonathan Jutsen
Executive Director - Strategy
Jon founded Energetics in 1984, and is currently Executive Director, responsible for business development. Jon is a leading international expert on energy and carbon management with 30 years’ experience in the field, and has been recognised widely for his contributions. He is known for his innovation, and his public advocacy of effective action on climate change. Jon works with executive teams and Boards to assist them to understand the business opportunities from pro-active actions to mitigate carbon emissions and manage climate change impacts.

Dr. Mary Stewart
Group General Manager - Resources and Heavy Industry
Mary has over fifteen years experience in decision making for sustainable development and is a recognised international expert on Life Cycle Assessment as it applies to resources and an expert in developing carbon footprints and carbon neutral positions. Mary is on the editorial board of the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, is a member of the AusIMM’s Sustainability Committee as well as its Energy and Climate Change sub-committee; she is on the peer review panel for The Journal of Industrial Ecology and has completed peer reviews of large, international LCIs.

Brian Innes
Principal Consultant & WA Regional Manager
Brian is a Principal Consultant and the WA Regional Manager. Brian specialises in providing practical strategic guidance to Energetics resource clients to help them prepare for the many energy and carbon challenges ahead. With a first class Honours degree in mechanical (materials) Engineering, Brian also has qualifications in HR, Marketing and Finance and has been active in the international materials and chemicals business for over a decade. Brian has experience across a range of sectors ranging from mining, minerals extraction, chemicals, manufacturing, advanced materials, energy and environmental technologies.

Dr. Peter Holt
Principal Consultant
Peter works on carbon strategies, decision-making frameworks and institutional capacity development across a range of sectors. He assists government and corporate clients to develop strategies, programs and actions to deliver their organisational's and climate change goals. Peter combines his expertise government policy and resource management to develop integrated solutions to combat climate change. A chemical engineer, Peter also has extensive experience in innovative treatment technologies, capacity development, risk assessment and a systems approach to water management.

Dr. Gordon Weiss
Principal Consultant
Gordon joined Energetics in March 1999 having spent almost 20 years working in a variety of operations and technical roles in the process industries. In the 10 years he has worked in all areas of energy management, process improvement and greenhouse management, with a prime focus on delivering savings to clients by aligning operating systems with manufacturing strategies.

Gilles Walgenwitz
Principal Consultant
Gilles has developed a strong expertise in providing engineering and economic analysis to support project feasibility studies and asset management solutions in the energy sector. Gilles has been with Energetics for over 5 years. He has experience in evaluating investments, optimizing operation and maintenance activities and assessing environmental impacts.

Lauren Ainscough
Principal Consultant
Lauren is a Principal Consultant, providing Energetics’ clients with leadership and expertise in the field of energy and greenhouse reporting. Drawing on her experience in auditing, verification, development of carbon inventories and sustainability reporting, Lauren is able to deliver high quality outcomes and strategic benefits to our clients. Lauren has assisted a number of Energetics’ clients in the development of National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) and carbon footprint inventories. She has also project managed some of our more complex Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon inventory projects.

Lidia Rozman
Principal Consultant
Lidia has many years' experience in understanding and implementing opportunities for improvements in energy and environmental sustainability. With her passion for ecologically sustainable development within the property sector, she combines her technical, project and change management skills to engage staff at all levels. As a mechanical engineer, senior manager and executive Lidia has been responsible for the planning, design and delivery of high profile, multi-disciplinary projects. Lidia is the current Mechanical College Board Representative for the Women in Engineering National Committee.

Phil Shorten
Principal Consultant, Organisational and Workforce Development
Phil specialises in organisational and workforce development. In this context, he is responsible for policy and program development and implementation. He works across all industry sectors, including government, and provides advice on energy and carbon management. Phil slso assists clients develop their strategic response to sustainability issues arising across supply chains. His focus is on leadership, management systems and processes to develop supportive sustainability cultures while driving bottom line outcomes, with recent projects in the Agrifood sector.

Nick Jones
Principal Consultant
Nick has a long history of providing successful energy and environmental consultancy services to some of the world’s leading companies. His primary experience lies within the commercial buildings area for clients with extensive portfolios, but he has also operated within the manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors adding depth and breadth to his skillset.

Nigel Hartnup
Principal Consultant
Nigel leads Energetics’ Energy and Carbon Markets team. He has assisted many of Australia’s leading private and public organisations with energy contracting strategies as well as the procurement of electricity, natural gas, GreenPower and carbon offsets. Nigel has over 9 years experience in energy procurement having previously worked as Deputy Electricity Purchasing Manager for the largest local authority energy purchasing organisation in the UK.

Chris McPherson
Principal Consultant
Chris is one of Australia’s most experienced energy and carbon markets consultants. With a background in commodity trading and financial markets, coupled with extensive experience in Australian electricity, gas and carbon markets, Chris helps businesses to find better solutions to their sustainability needs and manage risks.

Jody Asquith
Senior Consultant
Jody is a mechanical engineer with experience across carbon markets and sustainability. Her work for Energetics has included compiling emissions inventories and carrying out data gap analysis for National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) compliance, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for Greenhouse Friendly accreditation and support for organisations during the GGAS accreditation and audit processes. Jody has also carried out GGAS audits and other independent verification work related to carbon accounting.
